The Scientific Council at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj held its first session for the academic year 1445 AH on Wednesday 24/04/1445 (08/11/2023) under the chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nidal Addas, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Chairman of the Scientific Council - The Chairman of the Council began the meeting with the praise of God and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God, and His Excellency the President of the Council welcomed the members of the Council and wished them an academic year full of excellence and success and urged them to exert more effort to continue the work of the Council with the same vigor and activity. The Scientific Council has issued a number of decisions, namely:
Rules and Regulations:
- Continuation of the work of the Scientific Council during the summer period of 1445 AH.
Appointments of faculty members at the university:
Recommending the approval of the appointment of :
- Dr. Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Computer Engineering and Science.
- Dr. Mohammed bin Sultan Al-Subaie as Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at the College of Business Administration in Al-Kharj.
- Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Fawaz as Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Education in Al-Kharj.
- Dr. Salman bin Misfer Al-Harthy as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Kharj.
- Dr. Faten bint Fahad bin Dayel as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy.
- Dr. Manal bint Obaid Allah Al-Harbi as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kindergarten at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Aflaj.
Sabbatical Leave:
Reject the requests to postpone the scientific sabbatical leave for faculty members at the university.
Resignation:
Recommending the approval of the resignation submitted to a faculty member at the university.
Scientific Journals:
- Approval of the annual report of the Journal of Educational Sciences at the university for the year 1444 AH.
- Approving the restructuring of the editorial board of the Journal of Sharia Sciences and Arabic Language at the university.
